A New Leader in the ‘Top Education Book of 2012’ Poll

Ed Next’s ‘Top Education Book of 2012’ poll has been quite a horse race!

Andy Smarick’s The Urban School System of the Future took an early lead, but it was soon overtaken by Paul Tough’s How Children Succeed. Tough’s book held the lead for a while, but then Doug Lemov’s Practice Perfect came out of nowhere to overtake it. It didn’t hold the lead for long, though. Deborah Kenny’s Born to Rise passed it late last week and has held the lead ever since.
