Are the Rhee Stories in DC and the Teacher Evaluations in LA the Best or the Worst Stories in 2010?

Superman and his companion movies are currently winning the 2010 award for Best education story, but only by a nose. It and the Los Angeles Times release of teacher performances both have more than 16 % of all votes cast, with Michelle Rhee’s departure in DC running a strong third, at nearly 14 %.

Ironically, the LA Times and Rhee stories are also ranked No. 2 and No. 3, gathering nearly 17% and 16% of the vote just behind the stimulus package (with slightly more than 17 %) as the Worst education stories.

Clearly, the events in Washington, D. C. and Los Angeles have split our website readers down the middle, and the battle will continue to the very last day of 2010.

Vote in the office today, and, if you are really passionate, vote on your home computer tonight, as our system only prevents computers from voting twice. Then enjoy your holiday.
