A New Type of Ed School: Linking Candidate Success to Student Success

In New York City, the Bloomberg administration has released report cards for a dozen teacher training programs in the city. The report cards include information on whether graduates of the schools of education have been able to increase student test scores.  Last fall, June Kronholz wrote for Education Next about the Relay Graduate School of Education in New York City, which requires its students to demonstrate that their students are meeting student learning goals.
