What We’re Listening To: Texas Ten Percent Plan

Isaac McFarlin, one of the authors of a new study on the impact of the Texas Ten Percent plan on college enrollment, talks with Houston Public Media.

Texas students who graduate in the top 10 percent of their high school class are guaranteed a spot at one of the state’s flagship universities. The new study looks at how different types of students are affected by the plan.

The study, “The Texas Ten Percent Plan’s Impact on College Enrollment,” appears in the Summer 2014 issue of Education Next.
