The heartless and self opinionated bureaucracy would never let the public schools become quality schools. We need people with indomitable stoic determination at educational leadership level for secure and quality service delivery in education. For quality education, there has to be a nice mix of good text books, qualified, satisfied, competent and reflexive teachers working in a conducive teaching-learning environment with positive externalities. How quickly we can get this nice mix in place will be deterimental towards the education of our future generations

The persistent failure by our government to address poor quality textbooks in the classroom will upend any top-down reform effort. Heartless bureaucrats. The key to achievement is targeting literacy. May all your research prove me right.

I am surprised that the vote was weaker for increasing teachers' salaries when the voters were given information on current wages. I'm interested to know what specific wage information was given to the participants.
