What We’re Watching: Turning Dropouts Into Diplomas

Lawrence, Mass. has raised its high school graduation rate from 40 percent to 67 percent in seven years. The district has hired a “scholar re-engagement manager” to convince dropouts to return to school by developing personalized re-engagement plans for them.
