What We’re Watching: Eric Hanushek on Improving Educational Outcomes

In this video for Pearson’s “The Learning Curve,”  Eric Hanushek of the Hoover Institution explains why different countries need to try different approaches to improving education outcomes, and describes what we know about the effectiveness of some different approaches.

Hanushek, along with Paul E. Peterson and Ludger Woessmann, recently wrote about the performance of different countries in “Is the U.S. Catching Up?” which appeared in the Fall 2012 issue of Education Next.
