Chris Cerf, New Jersey’s acting commissioner of education, delivered a thought-provoking address on the role of governance in improving education outcomes at a recent Fordham Institute event.

Education Next today published an interview by Peter Meyer with Cerf, “a guy who has an astute appreciation for the challenges of education reform, and relishes them.”

Peter Meyer has done  other feature-length interviews for Ed Next with Whitney Tilson and John White.
