On February 7, AEI hosted a discussion about new research on how the student compositions of charter and traditional public schools differ. AEI’s Nat Malkus presented new data on how student composition differs across charters with different academic models.

In this video, an expert panel which included Gayle Burnett, Andre Perry, Nina Rees, and Andy Smarick discuss the research as well as the future of charter schooling more broadly.
