New Podcast: Audio Excerpt from Disrupting Class

Disrupting Class, by Clayton M. Christensen, Michael B. Horn & Curtis W. Johnson, applies Christensen’s theories of “disruptive” change to the issue of education, using a range of real-life examples. BusinessWeek named it one of the “Best Innovation Books of 2008? and Newsweek included it in the “Fifty Books of Our Times.” Earlier this month the authors announced they were releasing a revised and expanded edition of the book, which includes a new chapter on student motivation.

An audio excerpt of author Michael Horn reading from Disrupting Class is now available on www.educationnext.org.
For more on this topic, please see Christensen and Horn’s article “How Do We Transform Our Schools?” in the Summer 2008 issue of Education Next.

You can find excerpts from other books on our audio excerpt page here (including Rod Paige reading from The Black-White Achievement Gap and Richard Whitmire reading from Why Boys Fail).
