What We’re Watching: How Katrina Created an Opportunity for School Reform in New Orleans

Speaking at the Aspen Ideas Festival, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu talks about the school reforms taking place in his city (charters!) and how Hurricane Katrina made reform possible. Over the past five years, the city has used the opportunity to rebuild and improve the school system, both physically and organizationally.
