Valedictorians from low-performing inner-city high schools are headed to top colleges, but many will find that they are seriously unprepared for the rigor of college courses. In the Washington Post, Emma Brown talks with some former valedictorians from public high schools in D.C. about the academic challenges they encountered in college.
