A state court in New Jersey rejected arguments by the teachers union against two charter schools in Newark that use blended learning. The union argued that the state charter law did not explicitly allow schools to use blended learning. The court found no merit in the argument.

Although the lawsuit seems to have little chance of success, it creates frivolous headaches and expenses for the school leaders, which distracts from improving the schools themselves to realize the full promise of personalizing learning for all students.
