The documentary Underwater Dreams tells the story of four high school students from a high-poverty school in Phoenix — all undocumented immigrants — who win a robotics competition, beating students from MIT and other elite colleges.
The documentary, produced by Jeb Bush, Jr., will premiere on MSNBC and Telemundo next week.
NPR interviewed Jeb Bush, Jr. this week about the movie and about the experiences of undocumented students.
The trailer for the movie is available here.
