EdNext Podcast: Can a Federal School Choice Program Work?

On April 26, EdNext editor-in-chief Marty West moderated a debate between Tom Carroll of Invest in Education and Neal McCluskey of the Cato Institute at Washington, D.C.’s Hoover Institute.

The question was whether whether the Trump administration should “go big” on school choice by creating a federal tax credit scholarship.

Tom and Neal did such a good job of laying out the issues that we thought we should make it available to our podcast listeners. It is a bit longer than our usual offerings, but definitely worth the listen.

The video from the event can be found here.

Carroll and McCluskey debate this topic in writing here.

The EdNext Podcast is available on iTunes, Google Play, SoundcloudStitcher and here every Wednesday
